James Remar needs a good role

Post by Ranchgal »

Thank you SHM and SF---I was so happy to find out what that was, then I went to eBay and found it, and hopefully it should show up in about 10 days or so.
I did love that, saw it years ago, and never could forget it.
Learn something useful every day. :D

I was surprised to see how many things he has been in--like BladeIII and several I wasn't at all familiar with.

How good was james remar in the movie 'The Girl Next Door'. He played a porno producer called Hugo Posh. I know it was only a small role, but it was quality!

"See, Hugo Posh isn't just tits. He isn't just ass."

Remar hits it big time again playing the role of a psychotic father in the Showtime series, Dexter.  Have any of you guys watched it yet?  If you are into miniseries, especially into the macabre, the psyche, and spiritual realm, Dexter is an excellent series that will keep you awake for a while. I'll come back to this topic if someone wants to elaborate more.

Brief synopses of Dexter:

Starring Michael C. Hall, Julie Benz, Jennifer Carpenter, Erik King, Lauren Velez, David Zayas, and James Remar

Six Feet Under's Michael C. Hall is still dealing with death, just in a different way. In this adaptation of Jeff Lindsay's novel "Darkly Dreaming Dexter," Hall stars as a forensics pathologist who moonlights as a serial killer. (He's not all evil, though; he only murders bad guys.)
