Tony Danza, was on the Adam Carolla show this morning in LA and he mentioned how he "auditioned" for the warriors by asking the producers to see him fight: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QrgAivyc3V4

He says he got the part, but turned it down for his role in "Taxi".

Good find.  I wonder what part he would have played? I could see him playing Vermin or maybe one of the Punks

Vermin....    I think so, too.  He and Terry have some similarities, but I think he'd be more like Sully.
I could see The Warriors being Tony's debut on the movie scene.
