THE WARRIORS WAS GREAT ,BUT NONE OF THOSE GANGS REALLY EXSISTED.I AM FROM NYC AND FROM THE SAME ERA AS THE MOVIE.THESE WERE SOME OF THE GANGS THAT DID EXSIST BACK THEN IN NYC.

thanks for the cool info, but we are aware of the fact that the gangs in the movie didnt exist after all its just a movie,

Well they wouldn't use real gangs in the movie but thanks for the info.

The Alley Cats were a real gang in 70's New York. It doesn't describe what they are like in the script, just gives their name on the list, but the real gang that shared their name were all female members. It may have been partly where he got the idea for the lizzies.
