Showing the movie
I'm showing the movie to my friend tonight (she's slepping over) because she saw my shirt that I made and thought it was cool.
What about you guys, have you ever forced any of your friends to watch The Warriors?

hah i made my friend elijah watch it, hes a pretty young kid, black kid into rap and stuff (i am to...but im more open to all things in life) he didnt think he was gonna like it. but by the end he was really into the whole feel of the movie and asking questions and stuff. it was pretty cool. it also made him understand where "the diplomats - get crunk music" and "d12 - fight music" videos came from

Hell yeah! i forced loads of my friends to watch it at various times...all the girlfriends have had to go through it of course.
You get some really varied opinions, the worst people are those that pick apart everything and just can't take a movie for what it is.
Oh yes, I do enjoy my annual - Watch this damn movie or I pull the trigger fun.

I've shown it to a few friends, and they've been like "yeah it's alright"
But they just suck
Wouldnt want to show it to too many people, it'd lose it's Cult Rating and become Mainstream *cringe*

The last time I showed the movie to someone they said 'Why don't the Warriors just take off their vests?'

I've heard that one before. Also, "Why don't they steal some cars?"

we don't even know if they can drive. Lots of people in NY don't bother getting a liscence at all because public transport is so good/available, and it is alot cheaper than vehicle upkeep/insurance/parking etc.
I know that actor Michael Pare' didn't have a driver's liscence till he went to CA, they had to teach him to drive for Greatest American Hero, cause in NY he didn't need it and didn't bother.

Okay, my girl LOVED it! She understood most of it and I didn't have to explain it really.
She thought Luther was a "crazy-ass s-o-b" and didn't really like the Furies all that much (her nickname for them is the Faeries, and I kind of agree, they're kind of wimps).
All in all, a job well done on my part!

Man, when my wife took me to Chicago for the first time a few years back I was amazed when riding the el how close some apartments and houses were to the tracks. Looked like the people could reach out their window and touch the subway car. Those must be some cheap places to live!

Luckily my friends at work already saw it. My non-work friends are actuallybeing subjected to it as i type...
Hey anyone know how to "rent out" a movie screen for a showing of the movie or something? Theres a "three dollar theatre" near my house. I havent seen the movie on anything bigger than my home tv.
