Mercy on NBC's THE EVENT

Deborah Van Valkenberg (Mercy) played a grandmother on NBC's THE EVENT. They made her look REAL BAD!!!!

It didn't really look like my kind of show, but Deborah might have been the turning point! Did anyone else notice her on that movie "Backwoods"? Kind of a "Hills Have Eyes" rip-off, but still good.

i heard about the event and saw her in the backwoods movie and she was also in the devil rejects

Do you guys know in which episode of The Event? Anyway, when you see Deborah Van Valkenberg playing a grandmother you know you're getting old ::)

She was just on Law & Order Los Angeles, she plays a cancer patient whose son is a surfer and is murdered. Anyhow she looks messed up in this as well. The episode just aired on 10-13-10 and is called Harbor City. She appears for a short scene about 4 min in:

kinda funny that the Law and Order episode is about gangs, and defending "turf"
