We all know deep down, that a sequel to one of the greatest flicks of
all times, The Warriors isn't possible. Seeing as how Rem is dead, and a few of the other guys haven't been seen, etc.

But you know, if the game doe's well, maybe the story could live on
in vidoe game format. It's not like this hasn't happended before.
I mean with a video game you could have everything the way it
should be.

I know I for one am up for another game. Rockstar has a way with
games and since The Warriors is so badass, they got my vote for
another game.

I have to agree with Kiro. I don't think it will be possible. The Warrios is not a franchise like Star Wars, were they come up with new stories for the game. The Warriors was just one story and that is how is going to stay. Rockstar knows they would lose lots of money if they did something like that.

Yeah they can't try to make it like Star Wars or Mario. Could you imagine Warriors Cart racing? Or how about Warriors Tennis? A straight up Fighting game like Tekken is feasable but why bother? I bought the game because it was Warriors but also because it looked very accurate to the movie, especially for 26 years later. Some of the silly things, like that goofy hi-hat leader really, reminded me that it was a video game. In a sequel, you're likely to have a lot of characters like that.

I don't need another film. I know what happends!

I would like to see it happen in todays times..part 2 ..and have whoever is around in the second.. like if they have had kids ..you know a second generation type warriors.. maybe to have luther have a kid and see what trouble his kid gets into!! waoh.. lol I love him love ya luther!!!

i also have to agree with kiro but the thought of another game coming out is fantastic. i loved the game!

I would LOVE to see what luthers kid would look like. But a generation type thing would be awesome.

Hmm? Not a bad concept. A 'farther in the future' revisit to the NYC gang scene would explain why the original actors can't be in it. So you got some descendents of the original Warriors. Cleon's girlfriend was pregnant. Swan and Mercy had a kid and so on. Trouble would be Ajax would probably have fathered several kids from different women

I am guessing that after The Riffs caught him, Luther lost the capacity to pass on his family name (if he lived at all). Unless you mean if he had fathered someone before that. Then it might work.

Yeah, because even if by some miracle Luther had lived, you need a pair of testicles for that job and the Riffs were about to play beach-hockey with his.:badgrin:

A video game sequel would be amazing but i have to agree with everyone else that it will never happen.

Yeah, any movie made into a game doesn't get a sequel, unless more of the same movie is released. The Thing was a good game, and if they'd made another one, there could have been plenty to improve on, bugfixes and such...so the best we could hope for, is to buy a PC version of the game and hope someone makes mods for it, but that's a long shot.

what about the Nightmare before Christmas game. it was basically a sequel to the movie as a game. and as far as Luther's kids go, I would like to see the chick that, hmm how do I put this delicately, make love?with Luther.
