I would love to see interviews with the cast. Whether it is interviews from 1979 or now.

All interviews are great. The Back to the Future DVD has that. I love that DVD.

I think it would be cool if they had like a reunion of all of the living cast members, maybe get some insight into the making of the film and maybe some funny stories. Thats very unlikely, but it would be the best feature on the dvd. :o

I've seen Shaft, Dirty Harry, and Death Wish and all of those movies rocked. It's too bad they don't make movies like that anymore. I know there was a remake of Shaft, but it didn't compare to the original. Movies in general from the 1970's were fun and exciting to watch. It seems like all I rent at the video store are movies from that decade.

bobo, your friend always has great info about upcoming Warriors stuff; thank god we have you as a liason or else some of us (coughcoughMEcoughcough) would be completely clueless about anything that goes on!
That would be great if the dvd cam out in November, then I could get it for Christmas! I hope it doesn't get pushed back like the game was. When I heard about the game getting pushed back to October, I was really mad :x :x :x because it was originally supposed to come out the day before my birthday! How lame is that?
So I'm eagerly anticpating the dvd and any news about it!

Will this DVD be available at any music store after Oct 4th?

It should be good....i have a few directors commentaries and they are priceless (e.g. Oliver Stone Wall Street)

there is another thread with more information too--but it is scheduled for release Oct. 4, 2005

Both Amazon.com
and deepdiscountdvd.com
are advertising it for preorder for sale NOW--buy it now, with credit card, and they bill the card when it ships to you, and they email you and let you know too.

I would imagine, this will be just like all the other newly released movies---it should be available everywhere, and I can't imagine not being able to find it, Best Buy, at Walmart, Target, Sam Goody---where ever great dvds are sold.
I am sure it is scheduled for national release.
