A Gang members other life

My question is "When the gang members from the movie aren't with the rest of the gang or doing anything gang related, what do you think they do?"
Like do they have an apartment somewhere near their turf which they go home to?
Would they be able to walk the streets alone without getting wrecked cause they're in a gang?
Is it possible they have a wife or girlfriend? husband and boyfriend in the Lizzies case...
Or do they just stay with their gang at the hangout until it comes time to waste more heads?
This is only an opinion, there is no wrong or right answer as it's only a movie

I reckon some would share apartments near by and so if trouble arises they have more then one gang member close by to come help so they could still protect their turf, because if they stayed at the hangout all the time and never got sleep I think they would be to tired to fight.

Hmmmm, good question, I say since they are in their late teens, probably just hang around at the fair grounds or chill at some of their apartments.

I'm pretty sure there's a lot of illegal activity to pay the bills, I can't image hardcore members holding down a regular job cause bopping can be quite a spontaneous activity. I can't really see someone like Ajax at his job asking if he can leave early to go out patrolling.

If they are in their teens, they probably live with their parents. Like Alex from A Clockwork Orange.

I can just see Ajax coming home late and getting punished

they probably all hang around their turf like normal kids waiting for a rumble

They sit around the hangout and play with the action figures.

Wouldn't that be ironic... 8)

8)Â I can just see poor 'ol Ajax coming home from his attempted rape charge to find out that some numb-nut was renting Ajax's room and that said border was Ajax's parents' new favorite...I can see someone definitely being turned into a popsicle post haste...
As I think Harley said, I am virtually certain that when not out on patrol or at the hang-out each and every one of the lower level members have some illegal way of coming up with funds (i.e. protection money, loan sharking, etc,). My guess is that a large portion of those funds realized by each member end up in The Warriors' monthly budget in some way, shape and/or form. In many ways, they are Jacks of all Trades and wait by the ready to soldier as The Warriors need them...
Just my guess... 8)

The reality of it is they'd be out boosting stuff that they could pawn or sell. There's a reason that cars in NYC have signs in the window "No Radio" so thieves won't break the window and find there is no radio. Thye've been ripped off so many times they give up replacing the radio.
There's all sort of warehouses with stuff worth stealing. Hey some gangs might specialize in car theft.
The gangs aren't angels and do illegal stuff all the time. The Orphans were probably still on the level of robbing old lady's purses!

This made me think of the crazy stolen car warehouse in "Adventures in Babysitting" (which of course led me to think of the "lords of hell" scene also

) Maybe if the Warriors had made it through into the later 80's they'd have something that elaborate too?
