Which gangs share borders with the Riffs?
Which gangs share borders with the Riffs?
THe Riffs turf is the Gramercy Park area, which I'm guessing is in Manhattan as that has been attributed to them in the game. (Could be wrong) My question is, which gang turf is on either side of them. Which gangs share borders with the Riffs?

I don't think any of the gangs are specifically said to share borders with the Riffs. There obviously are some, no idea who they would be though.

Gramercy Park is in the Bronx where the meeting happened, not Manhattan. Out of the gangs we know about, the Van Cortland Rangers would be closest to them, with the Turnbull AC's and Moonrunners not far away. Could also be any number of other gangs around there, there were 100 at the meeting, and that's before we count smaller groups like the Orphans.

But remember the riffs influence all the turf so who knows.

Good question, maybe it's on the map of the Warriors Game...although there aren't any levels where the Warriors fight the riffs...
I can't make it!
You sure?
Yeah, I'm sure.
Good... I'm sick of running from these wimps.

Well no doubt there are gangs all over the perimeter. You see its inevitable for gangs to emerge everywhere into little sub-gangs. But this is no threat to the Riffs. The Riffs have an influencial power that goes beyond, hostile takeover. Its their organization, and power of their mind that keeps them at the top of the mountain. So as long, as there is no other gang with that kind of complex power, theres no need to worry about more gangs.

I looked it up, and yeah you're right. Thanks for correcting me there.Scurvy Dog wrote:Wrong. Gramercy Park is definitely in Manhattan, a few neighborhoods east of Union Square. I don't have a map in front of me, but I would place it near midtown if I had to guess. It probably borders, or is close to Chinatown, Little Italy, Soho - a few of those neighborhoods.eliminator1 wrote: Gramercy Park is in the Bronx where the meeting happened, not Manhattan. The conclave was in the Bronx, on someone else's turf - most likely the Van Cortland Rangers if it was in VC Park. I am sure that any gang in the city would be honored to host a meeting for the Gramercy Riffs, or at least afraid not to.
Given this information, one has to wonder why Cyrus held the meeting where he did. Central Park would have been a more central location for everyone. Maybe VC Park was more isolated and would draw less attention?

For the record, Gramercy borders on Stuyvesant Town, Flatiron, Midtown South, Murray Hill, and Tudor City. It's served by Delancey Street Station, which was and still is on the F Line.Scurvy Dog wrote: Wrong. Gramercy Park is definitely in Manhattan, a few neighborhoods east of Union Square. I think it was held in Van Cortlandt Park for a few reasons: it's far out of the way, so there would be much less police presence. It's less urbanized than Central Park as well, meaning less chance of being spotted. On top of all that, Van Cortlandt Park was only controlled by one gang, that being the VC Rangers. Central Park is in the middle of Manhattan, surrounded by rivals on all sides. It would be a logistical nightmare to attempt a meeting there. In addition, the Bronx was a hell hole back then, so I guess it was kinda fitting to hold the meeting there. It would be the easiest borough to take, cause the criminal element was so prominent.
There is my thoughts on the matter, at least.
