This was not my first Chiller con., I went once before, in 2000. I am from IL., so it is quite the trek, but I am a horror movie fiend, and they are so much fun. There were a ton of guests this year that I am really into, and at the top of that list were the Warriors cast members, along with Edwin Neal, Peter Criss, Zacherley and Beverly Washburn.
I hit The Warriors room on Friday night, and had them all sign my original Australian/New Zealand daybill. They were all very nice, and I asked them to each sign my favorite lines they had in the film.

In the order I got them...
David Harris - "Magic, whole lot of magic"
Brian Tyler - "Nine guys, no weapons"
Apache Ramos - "We ain't got one"
Dorsey White - "You just soldier, and keep your mouth shut!"
Roger Hill - "The future is ours"
Terry Michos - "Coney Island must be 50 to a 100 miles from here"
Deborah Van Valkenburg - "You can get another one man!"
Michael Beck - "This is what we fought all night to get back to?"
Irwin Keys - I did not ask him to sign a quote, because, well, he had no lines, but he signed it "Break legs"
My impressions of the guys....
David Harris was nice, but didn't really say much.
Brian Tyler and his girlfriend, or wife, whichever she was, were really sweet, and she took a picture of me with Brian. When I asked Brian to sign it 9 guys no weapons, his response was "Another great line" He aksed to see my shirt and complimented it. I told him that a firend of mine made it for me, and that I was wearing it in honor of her.

I think a certain board member may recognize the shirt I was wearing.

Apache Ramos was beyond nice and generous. The first thing I said to him was "Man, I gotta tell you, you have THE coolest name" I asked him to sign "we ain't got one" and he said "Ah, my famous line, I am glad you like it" My response was "Hell yeah man, I am a big fan of The Orphans, and they are some of my favorite scenes from the film" I can't quite remember what his response to that was, but he seemed genuinely happy to hear it. Oh, also, when I asked Apache to sign his line, Brian Tyler, who was sitting right next to him said "He knows all the great lines" Anyway, Apache went on to talk about his signature, and how he signed the A like an arrowhead, and came up with it in highschool.
Dorsey White, I told him "Dorsey, for the limited screen time you had, you were always my favorite Warrior, you were so bad ass" The dude who was with him said something about he was the only one that kicked any real ass or something to that effect. I agreed with him, though was thinking, has he forgoten about the Baseball Fury, and Punks fights? Haha. Dorsey was extremely nice as well, and seemed genuinely flattered.
Roger Hill was next, he didn't really say much, he was pretty stoic, but nice just the same.

Terry Michos was extremely nice and upbeat.
I asked Deborah to sign "You can get another one man", and not only did she sign it, she said it, just how she does in the film. Haha, I loved it. She was sweet, and asked me about my daybill, which I told her was really Australian, but this particular one was used in New Zealand, which you can tell by the ratings snipe on it. She thought it was really cool, how it was long and skinny. I told her I was going to frame it, and thought it would look nice. She agreed.
When I layed the daybill down for Michael Beck, he said "New Zealand"? I said, wow, you got that right off the bat, some of the others were asking about it" He says "Well, I knew because someone else came through with a similar rating sticker on it, so don't think I am that smart" I thought that was pretty funny, and then asked him to sign "This is what we fought all night to get back to?" and told am that I really loved that line, and not only the line, but his delivery. He thanked me, and then I moved on.

Irwin keys was super cool. I laid down the daybill, and he says "Wow, looks like you have just about everybody, who do you still need, just Remar?" I said, well, I just have everybody here's, so yeah would love to get Remar, Paul Greco and David Patrick Kelly. He said that David Patrick Kelley never does conventions, and that Remar only does cons. in California. I said yeah, who knows when, if ever I will get their autographs, but this is already more than I ever expected. He then said "Dee Dee Benrey, who was one of The Lizzies, is a good friend of mine, the one with the gun, I don't know why she didn't come" I told him that would have been amazing, because she was my favorite Lizzie. Really, REALLY nice guy.
On Saturday night, Chiller has a big party, with bands, and costume contest, and this years was a blast. LOTS of the guest were hanging out and drinking. At one point I look over and there are all the Warriors hanging out, at the same time I look over at them, Brian Tyler's girlfriend/wife looks at me, recognized me, and said hi. I went up to Brian and said "You know, it is pretty wild to see all you guys all in the same place 27 years later, but it's surreal to see you all hanging out at a party together" He laughed and said that actually they all pretty much stay in touch. Then they got whisked away, and Brian said "Hey, I gotta go, but it was really great meeting you, hopefully I will see you again" and they split to their hotel rooms.
I can only sum up this whole experiance by saying "WOW" It was far beyond worth the trip.
