Do you mean would i like to live in the world created in the film or my real life?

If so i would choose my own life. Anyone who chooses a fictional life needs to get out more!

I agree a bit there and yes between a warrior life or a real one.

when you say anyone who says warriors life needs to get out more, they could go ouit everyday but they could choose warriors life cus they think real life is boring, or they would rather live a life with excitement and gangs and the chance to run where they live. So they can choose a warriors life and not need to get out more. I havn't decided yet I'll post tomorrow if I have.

What i'm satying is if you're that unhappy with your life that you would want to trade your life for a world where you life is in danger every minute that isn't a good sign.

The Warriors is great but, it doesn't portray a true picture of gang life. I'm sure anyone who has left ganglife behind wouldn't advise going into it.

If anyone is that unhappy they need to do something to change there life. Hence me saying get out more and change things for the better.

I do think the warriors accurately portrayed gang life-At that time. Were talking a whole different world now.Back then i think gang life was hanging out and protecting your turf and if something popped off it got handled with fists not guns and thats something i could handle. If you start to think about it this question is not as simple as first appears.

SHM-sorry to hear about your friends

Maybe Warriors world. I wouldn't tuch the gang life though, I'm no wussy I'm just smart enough to know to stay away. No thanks, I don't feel like getting killed.
Atleast in Warriors world you could live in the 70's.  8)

I would have to say real life. I mean I feel that although life is not an easy rode, the true idea is that the real world is actually what you make of it.  The Warriors is just another film that helps you escape reality sort of as a little stress reliever, and when your done, you go back and face reality.  Its alright to be a dreamer, in fact it was Albert Einstein who said "imagination is more important than knowledge", but in order to have an imagination, you need to express it in the real world.  The real world is like an empty art pad, or just a block of clay, its up to you to make something out of it.  So I although I like the warriors, I try not to get consumed  by it.  Its reality that helps you find your true potential, to another world of imagination and wonder.

Well let's see, I didn't like living in the Matrix, Eternia had too many enemies, starting with Skeletor, and Oz wasn't that appealing to me, c'mon man, are you serious?

I would like to join the warriors but I choose the real life as well cuz I can't handle going to jail and getting my manhood takin away!! Thats why I wouldn't want to join the gang life.

I agree with this to an extent. Most disputes were settled with fists, or an occasional blade and rarely would a gun come into play. And gangs were mostly about protecting your turf, not money and drugs like the gangs of today. However, the Warriors, didn't accurately portray gangs at the time. All the movie did was make the gangs appear more honorable and tolerant for the masses to accept the movie, so the creators could turn a profit. Do you really think some gang from the Bronx could sneak over 100 gangbangers(dressed like mimes, pimps, baseball playes bikers & skinheads no less) into Van Cortland Park in the middles of the night in Summertime? They woulda never even had the chance to set up all the scaffolding before they got "a nightstick shoved halfway up their ass." And the movie had almost every gang ethnically diverse, which in the 70's (coming right off the Civil Rights Movement) was almost unheard of, as it still is today for the most part. I mean, the Turnbull AC's were a Bus full of Nazi skinheads, who just happened to be like 20 % Black. What, they didn't think Harlem's 139th St. KuKluxKlan or The Italian Black Panthers from Bensonhurst would fit in? LOL...I understand they may have been trying to promote racial diversity(or just trying to get more white faces into the storyline...*conspiracy theory*) but it just took away from the realism of an otherwise great, classic movie.

well i get confused im ony sixteen and i have been in a gang but im not going into that because against the rules and its no fun it much more daring to punch some one and then knee him and blah blah blah then it is to shoot someone with a handgun i mean if you lived in warriors time then youd havr to live with risks and danger everyday and it the face of getting stabbed with a blade or wacked round the head with a pipe so i would choose real life if only gangs didnt populate my area anymore (cos my gang died out over 3 years ago) so probably not

so my conclusion-real life
