I was looking through a magazine in Uk called 'Nuts' (For you who dont know its a typical lads mag) and there is an advertisement for a film called Murder Party and it looks like its a spoof and on the cover you can see someone dressed up as the yellow baseball fury and there is a screen shot with the yellow fury in a room with blood on the walls.
Just thought I would let you guys n gals know and if anyone as seen it?

Even though I haven't heard about it before but the title is lame...please post some pictures or anything you can find on the web since this is in the UK...I looked into it on http://www.imdb.com...seems that there was a movie made in NYC but it looks like one of those unpopular movies made this year...I don't know if its the same one but I didn't see a screen shot of a furie in a room full of blood...couldn't they have been a little more original...I bet the furie look-a-like is the murderer which reminds me of Scream...

Actually, judging by the summary I read, you couldn't be any further from the truth. This is what it's supposedly about:
Murder Party is about a lonely nerd type who happens upon an invitation around Halloween. He gets all dressed up in a ridiculous cardboard costume & is off for the "Murder Party" with Pumpkin Raisen bread in tow. It turns out some weirdo artsy fartsy types have set up to murder whoever arrives with this invite.

Even that description you have there Cowboy is Cool doesn't seem very interesting...the one who dies is the one with the special invitation?..writers are not very unique these days like the writers back in the day...Let's take an example...I can't judge the Halloween remake because I haven't seen it yet...but the 1978 version is and will always be a classic...there's a guy walking around in a mask killing people...that was good horror and people were scared...this "Murder Party" is just pathetic without any meaning...then whats the point of killing the person with this "special invitation"? doesn't look very creepy... once again:

I've got Murder Party, and for what it is a low budget straight to DVD cheapie it's not too bad. Not very original, but better than all the remakes and some of the other horror rubbish that gets released in the cinema.
A bunch of mostly talentless art students send out an anonymous invite, with the plan to kill whoever actually takes the invitation up. The Baseball Fury guy is one of these, and seems to be the least interested until near the end when he goes on the rampage after his buddies turn on and kill each other, until he is killed by their original intended victim.
