I just popped into my loval HMV and they were selling a new Warriors DVD. It is packaged in a cardboard case as a "Paramount Classic" and it appears to be the original theatrical release of the movie, but in the new packaging. It also comes with a free A3 poster which is essentially the cover of the DVD (original art). It's 18 certificate in the UK.

Yes!  Another item for the 'My Girlfriend's Gonna Kill Me If I Buy This' list. Ya see, we just moved into a big flat with loads of space, and I've just gone and filled up a nice chunk of that space with my DVD's and CD's for all to see, which 'her indoors' ain't too chuffed about... 

Guess who's going to HMV tonight anyways...

Good to see the theatrical release back in shops - that's three versions of the movie available now on DVD!

Yeah, i would just get it for the original movie poster.  Nothing like staring at an original creation, and it srtistry.

Perfect!  I will buy this to get that "where are they!?" scene back.  The worst part of the SE. 

Paramount probably had a bunch of complaints about the ultimate director's cut being the only version available.  At least that's how it is in most stores in the US. 

You can't beat the original.

There's no new additions on the dvd,but it is worth buying because of the poster in it.I just checked Amazon site and they don't have it,so I guess it will be available only in the HMV stores and few online stores.Anyway,here's the link to the dvd: http://www.hmv.co.uk/hmvweb/displayProd ... sku=670966 .

I wonder if it is going to be realeased in australia if it would i would by it straight away but probably not because australia sucks.

O.K. I want to get this straight in case I see this at HMV here in Vancouver, the new original theatrical release DVD is the same version as the original version DVD that was out before the director's cut became available.  This new one just has the poster that comes with it and the original cover art?  I hope that makes sense.
