Did the Orphans earn a spot on the Riffs' network?

Hey everyone, here's a theory I never saw on here before. Earlier tonight, my wife and I went to a movie (Bourne Ultimatum, for the record), and she asked me if I thought that after the Warriors got past the Orphans, if the Orphans earned a spot on the Riffs network.

When Masai was told about it, he said "They're not on our network!", but his scout said "They rumble anyway." The Orphans had no idea that the Riffs wanted the Warriors, but they at least tried to stop them (though unsuccessfully, like every other gang they encountered).

Could this have earned them a spot on the Riffs network? Or not?

Furthermore, if Masai made the offer, do you think the Orphans would accept the offer, or foolishly pass it up, possibly challenging the Riffs?

I thought this was an interesting question, so I had to post it. What are your thoughts?

No way, in fact and pretty sad too, this would deffinetly and furthermore not allow the Orphans to be part of the Riffs network, I mean they didn't even put up a fight, so this would put the Orphans at the very end of the Riff's list of which gang was going to join next on their network.

i dont think they would challenge the riffs! they knew they were tough and heavy mothers! but i think they might have got a spot, masai didnt even know who the hell the orphans were until masais helper told him about the orphans running until the wariors!

I don't think theres any chance that The Riffs would of put them on their network you know theres a reason they weren't invited to the meeting and The Orphans outnumbered The Warriors 30 to 8 and is all The Warriors did was throw a Molotov at a car and they ran even know that had 22 more soldiers nows that pretty pathetic and them not catching The Warriors would make Riffs think there more pathetic.

You know something, this "league" style network is an illusion.  A group can go from weak to strong as desperation sets in.  A strong enough group wouldn't "ask" to be in the Riffs network.  They would attack.  Remember, before the truce, "everybody was wasting everybody!"  There was no "network" loyalty.  The only reason anybody respected the Riffs was because they were strong.  So, I am not saying that the Orphans as we know them were ready for the Riffs.  But in time, and with hunger, those Orphans could evolve into a force.

I personally believe that no matter what walk of life these different gangs came from, they all had to so something rare and unique to get on the Riffs network.  Now even if you are not well heard of, and are in the network, that because you did a ounce in a lifetime objective to get you on that network, even if your never heard of again.  I think that the Riffs were professionally picky on who they chose.  Its hard to say that they gave a gang a chance, just because they made a "good effort."  Take the warriors for exanmple.  Now they maybe a small time click, but perhaps they did something ounce in their past to br noticed and recognized.  So maybe thats how they got on the network.  Its the unique essence of a gnag, that has them on the network, and as far as the Orphans go, there just low lives living in a fantasy world.  Like I said, even if a gang falls apart and is never heard of again, they were put on a list for that one special thing they achieved.  If anything, the orphans, probaly were picked off by some small time gang, and vanished off the face of the earth, never being heard or seen again.  Who knows, thats just one way of looking at all this.

I tend to think that way too--I don't really think the Riffs had any sort of network that worked together, I think they were just aware of everyone that is around them, and who may or may be able to help them in whatever quest they are on.  Everyone listens to the radio--so most of the "aware" night people were on the network of the radio, with or without the Riffs even knowing them.  But any gangs looking for future help or favors from one of the biggest gangs, would certainly report back so that the Riffs would know they made the effort to help out.

I doubt the Orphans got a spot in the network. The reason why is becuase they are still weak and they didn't even bother to throw hands with the Warriors when they had the chance. They are still scary and there is no way the Riffs want guys on their network that can't beat a 84 year old woman in a fight.

If they did accept the Orphans regardless if they are tough or not that'll make the organization seem dumb and pointless if you can't have a gang that can't hold there own.

Swan1979 is right the orphans are to pathetic and as swan1979 said after the warriors threw molotov at the car and the orphans fell over the orphans could at least of got back up and chased the warriors and the orphans are a pathetic gang anyway.

The Orphans may have gotten noticed but I think as soon as the Riffs saw them they would have dropped them or kicked their a$$e$ for being lame F**ks.
