Im a little confused
So 'Rose Clements" has a Cochise vest directly from D Harris,that looks authentic to me.
MARK TREMONTI also has a Cochise vest...Looks original;
Now on EBay there is a third 'Cochise' vest..
Thats a lot of vests from one guy.
Any thoughts?
How many vests did Coshise have?

The profiles in history blurb said..
Paramount, 1979) Light brown synthetic leather vest with black trim in a geometric pattern, lined in polyester and handwritten in black ink near the maker’s label, “Cochese” [sic]. Worn by Cochise, the soldier who dresses in Native American Indian accoutrements and who successfully makes it back to Coney Island with his Warrior brethren. The vest has a true copy of the two Warriors embroidered insignia patches on the back – the stylized Warriors logo and winged-skull symbol – which were created with the exact pattern used by costume designer Bobbie Mannix to make the vest patches in 1979, making these identical, 100% correct patches to the ones worn in the original production. (The original patches were removed from the vests shortly after the film wrapped, and the vests pressed into service on other unknown films). This is the only Warriors vest known to have survived, and may be the only opportunity collectors may ever have to own an original wardrobe piece from this classic film. Auction Location:
26901 Agoura Road, Suite 150, Calabasas Hills, California, 91301, United States
So if this is the same one on Ebay...the patches are not original.

The Mark Tremonti one and the one on Ebay at the moment look like the same one to me.

Re: How many vests did Coshise have?
Back before Rose/Bobbie/Cochese bought his vest from David Harris; I asked Davids agent (who was running Davids myspace page at the time) how many vests does David currently own David had 2 in his possesion. This was the same time as the cochese vest was up for auction.
I'm led to believe that David had multiples of all parts of his costume.

I can't remember if the subject of whether David ever had more than one vest ever came up. I'm pretty sure he never had more than two mind. I can ask him, if you like? I'm now quite curious to know if he ever had another one who he sold it to. I think I'll ask. Be back soon...

Re: How many vests did Coshise have?
Productions costume dept would have had a number of near duplicate outfits for the same actor, incase of accidental damage on set. In the short time Tom Waites was in the film, his top rocker is different. (In one scene, the S touchers the R; in another, they are spaced apart).
