confusing...the vests in the picture look exactly the same as ones already available

Just to be clear: are the Bobbie Mannix designed vests, the ones that appear in the link? If so, couldn't they be displayed a bit better, so we can "inspect" the details?

All I want to know is if Bobbie is prepared to sell us her proto-vest for a mere 10,000 bucks?! Now that would be a bargain!! I would love to get my hands on those original hand-drawn designs!! BTW 4ni, Bobbie's a girl

Is the dude in the picture Roger's son? If so, would love to know if his dad hung onto any stuff he may want to sell?

Yes, that is Roger's son.

The vest pictures being used at the moment are the ones that we already own. Mark 1s circa 2005. If you look closely you can see the A1 American flags store logo. I wouldn't be surprised if they are SHM's photos that's been found via google image search.

The Bobbie Mannix vest project has me interested, but I'm not prepared to buy something unseen.

I'm with you 9th (and I still have that copy of the Village Voice I have to send you). To shell out $300 for something sight unseen is ridiculous. Before this the organizer said he has access to Paramounts archives and he made the god awful jacket (he was also selling Tricender's (Satansmother09) vests for a while). Just everything is wrong with it. Incorrect color, horrible piping and patches. Hopefully Bobbie set him straight. I have a feeling he will have vests left over to sell at the event so I can see them before purchase.

I'm not affiliated with Eric, so this is all just conjecture on my part... HOWEVER, It is my belief that he only used those pictures because he does not yet have images of the actual vests

On the positive side, I like the top rocker patch. erm, that's about it, really.

Piping would be good if the beige was removed. Think i'll stick with the ones I already own.

Wow! Not what I expected. Is it me or is the color of the vest completely wrong? Have we gotten incorrect this whole time? The warbird looks like it is missing stitching. I was thinking this would look like the screen worn vests we have seen. Instead it looks like Bobbi designed a new vest. And what with the extra piping in the back (big triangle)?

If I've got this correct, it's based off her original design (pre production) and not the final article that was used in the film. Heard claims budget made them use cheaper materials/suppliers.
My original reaction to it was "meh". Would have much preferred a screen accurate version.
