Warriors Vests From Pakistan

Post by knuckleduster »

Hey folks I've been searching around the internet for a Warriors vest and this was the first thing I came up with on the old Google search. I'm not sure if anyone's posted this yet but it seems kind of promising, but at the same time a little scetchy until I or someone else finds out a little more information on these babies...

Image

The site address is;

http://bikewear.en.ecplaza.net/1.asp

It seems like some sort of a wholesale trade site or something. You can't really make a purchase there, just 'inquire'??

There's a link to what is apparently the manufacturers homepage;

http://www.leatherbikewear.com

...which unfortunately is a dead link.

Well there's a whole bunch of other information on there like the apparent address in Pakistan and their creative directors name and their apparent address. If anyone can maybe wrap their braincages around this with a bit of extra detective work it would be greatly appreciated. I've emailed an 'inquiry' to the crative director but am yet to recieve a reply. There's a phone number there and I'd have no reservation in calling it but I just have to figure out the time differences from Australia to Pakistan and fingers crossed I don't get someone who can only speak Pakistani. Anyways I have no idea if this will yield anything but if anyone finds anything out could they drop me a mail at;

imaginscape@hotmail.com

Thanks and keep soldiering.

That website you found looks way to fishy, Id try looking elsewhere.

Unless the seller is backed up by the website somehow. I never buy stuff from the internet strictly cause the premise of sending money to some shady person bank account makes my stomach turn.

I'm willing to look further into it though.

It does look a tad fishy. If you look close enough at the tag there's an american flag on it I think. Is that the way the A-1 tag looked? A-1 had to purchase their stock from somewhere.

from what i've heard and researched, a-1(Dale) buys them wholesale from pakistan and sells them here in the US.
if you can get a large enough group buy together to make their minimum order, you can probably get them at cost(like super cheap, probably $50 or less).

i almost broke down and bought one til i noticed it was more of a "homie cut"(oversized vest to wear over your jacket) rather than a 70's cut(a tight slim fit), just look at the size of the arm holes and you'll see what i'm talking about. :(
if i ever see one thats more movie/timeframe accurate, i'll pick it up in a heart beat but i'm just not down with "homie-wear". :-|

I might just try anyway. I think the order might just have to be in bulk.

So the sizes are a little baggy ey? I'm 5'11 slim/built. Would I need a medium for a snug-ish fit?
