I can see if the factory can work off of that, but usually they need a sample or the art.

in 1994 it was on display at a manhattan subway station...definatly
there was a plaque or a card alongside it (i'm sure there used to be a picture on this site of it)
as i recall it remided me of a thai peasant outfit, i don't think it was corduroy

I know my factory and they are going to ask for an actual sample or a art file. To replicate the art (if they have to do it themselves) is about $40 for them to just do that. The only other option is to see if it is available in the open market in Hong Kong (it being an asian themed tiger) they might have a replica that we do not have to produce. But again, I'd rather work on another gang.

In that post, it says that it was on loan from the Museum of Moving Image. I have never seen it there. I go every so often. I was there a couple of years ago for a WARRIORS screening and i walked around and didn't see it. Can anyone confirm if the museum still has it??

More detailed report.

I believe it was one of those short period exhibits.

My dad works for transit so I can have him find out if it is in the transit museum.

that link brings back more memories,
i think it was amongst a moving pictures collection of movie memorabilia...but it was a long time before the dispplay in the link...there could have been many showings of the collection...and most likely more in the future.
