I've done a little work on my vest to make it more screen acurate than what it was.

Bleached and painted over some of the black non-discript lumps (hoping the paint strenghens the thread where the bleach weakened it), started to put some detail into the snakes face, expanded and tidied up some of the diamonds, enlarged parts of the eye and gave it a more defined outline, added a proper nose, gave it a cheekbone, put some shape and shading to the inside of the ear, added the missing snakes tail and added the missing stripes to its underbelly.  Needs a few more layers to extend the teeth and have to do some more to the hairline and blood dripping.
Not much I can do to the gold blocks around the M and C
Eventually it will have the white dulled down.

Ive also taken the patch off the original vest and sewn it onto an old denim jacket for a more vintage look.

Yeah, eventally.  Was going to do it just a tea bag at a time and do it gradually.  I dont want it to look too stained.  I'm going for more of a patchy off white effect.

Not sure wether to leave it in direct sunlight and let the red fade a little.  I've decided against adding its double goatee and whiskers around the nose incase it comes out looking some some deformed cat.

ill get to see your sm vest later... but sounds great already

Regular wear and tear should dirty up the EE jacket. Just wear it around the house, cook in it lol....wait until the summer then BBQ in it. The smoke is great for dirtying things up.

i wore my EE jacket for new years eve, i even sprayed champagne all over the pavement w/ it on, i was afraid of some splash-back.
