I think he used something called Pure Neatsfoot oil. not sure on the spelling.

that's it exactly - don't be fooled by the synthetics - make sure it says 100% Pure Neatsfoot oil

And don't just apply it - massage it in like yer working on a Roman Centurion (or something)!

It doesn't take much; however, i recommend that you get extra so that you can do it multiple times
