Re: Moonrunners jacket
I had a feeling that was Tri. I left about 6pm but I didn't spend all the time in the reunion. I know the franchise owner of Wahlburgers, so we went there. Since there was NOTHING else to do, after I got my autographs (which I snuck in since there was no need to wait on the line for the WARRIORS since I already have them) we went around coney (amusements, NATHANS etc) and wandered in and out of the event. Finally gave up and went home.4nik8 wrote:Didja see Tri at CI selling a bunch of vests? A rather inexpensive WATKINS JACKET is for sale. It is a corvette jacket that would need to be modded.

Re: Moonrunners jacket
Bumping the longest thread in forum history
I received a Moon Runners patch for Christmas. It's the one copied from my unfinished design before NC came on board. Decent quality patch. The purple backing is a stiff felt while the detail is fully embroidered. It's biggest flaw is its size. It looks too small on an adult sized jacket. They've used a ten inch circle. Why do patch makers do the opposite of what is needed? They've reduced the size of the other gang patches, but the warbird gets larger when it needs shrinking.
Side note: When did photobucket become such a pain in the ass? Tried a dozen times to upload this patch to there but been stuck on 90% for the past quarter of an hour. That's after going round in circles with confirmation codes and constant advert pop ups.

Speaking of ripped off and images being used without permission; stumbled across this website yesterday. They are all my photos. As you all know, these jackets aren't made from satin.

They are more plastic than satin. I love how they never show their actual product. It’s the same with VESTS.

Whatever the outer coating is made of, it flakes like a mutha under the armpits. Watkins jackets are going for silly money now. Hard to find a bargain.
It makes you wonder how bad the actual product from these sellers, actually are. Within hours of a movie production photo being leaked, they have a repro jacket up for sale.

Re: Moonrunners jacket
Well this company has copied my jacket a little too closely. At least they're using their own photos and showing the actual product.

Terrible...
Re: Moonrunners jacket
It was awful of the company to copy your designs. Can you do something about it? You should start selling your products.
Additionally, I agree with Ninth Delegate. As I mentioned earlier, I have been trying to get my dad a Warriors-related gift for his birthday but I cannot find anything of good quality.

Most of these products are made in countries where western laws have little effect and are disregarded. I've managed to get photos removed from eBay. If you're unsure of what to get for your dad, post some links up in the merchandise thread or facebook group page and get feedback from those that's already purchased the items. It may save you getting ripped off and ending up with shoddy products.Lily wrote:It was awful of the company to copy your designs. Can you do something about it?
