I'm in the process of making an Orphans shirt.  My first attempt was a disaster as the black dye agent I used was too runny and bled over the lines of the lettering.  My second attempt will be cutting out the letters in black material then stitch them onto an olive green T-shirt.

It looks better than it does in the photo.  I put my set of warriorcleon patches in the scanner.  Used a little bit of photoshop magic and made the rocker symetrical (the actual embroided patch is lob-sided) seperated all the letters, Split the warbird in half and made it a mirror image, pasted the flames on top afterwards and stretched it to fit, doubled the thickness of the black line on the wing mounts, added a black border  and increased the overall size.  With it being a scan, all the stitching shows up on the print.
