Re: Electric Eliminators
looking good nice work, how much do you charge?
Re: Electric Eliminators
If you are asking me the cost of the mod, it took me a while. Tri PM and we can work something out.
"It's on and we're going!"
Re: Electric Eliminators
does anyone of you who have a MEDIUM (or SMALL...??) size of the 2° EE jackets series to trade with mine (mine is very big. it must be XL i guess)?
this message is for ppl who don't really care about wearing it, and just want to expose it. Instead I'd like to wear it too sometimes.
anyone?
thanks,
-Nick

Three Bills??? He paid $300 for his?? I wonder if he is on this board. Hey man! That's my patch. I hope he didn't think that was how his patch was going to look. It took me weeks to get it to look like that.

Re: Electric Eliminators
Just been browsing ebay for a M-65 jacket (i'm toying with the idea of doing a Terminator costume from the 1st half of the original movie). Stumbled across these.....

Re: Electric Eliminators
Everything was done with acrylic paint. The lightning bolts were dabbed on to make the borders raised. The skull detail is watered down black.

Looks great. Wow lot of work in that patch.
Re: Electric Eliminators
Sorry so many posts but I think now that we have designs we should be able to get patches down that we have struggled with for so many years.
Now that I have a scan of the original patch, let’s dive into it:
ELECTRIC ELIMINTAORS and OUTLINE OF LIGHTNING BOLT is a GOLD thread
INSIDE OF LIGHTNING BOLT is GOLD metallic tread
BORDER is a RED satin
THE SKULL is the same material as the base of the WARRIORS rocker, which I cannot figure out. Maybe Cochise, 4NIK or 9th can say what that material is as they have seen or own an original vest. I think this material was used in GRAY for the ALLEY CATS patch
THE CRACKS IN THE SKULL are black embroidery
BASE is a BLACK felt
What do you think?

Re: Electric Eliminators
Mian (who makes the vests) has a full sized screen accurate (in design if not in material) EE patch for sale.
The off white appears to be cotton based like a thick tshirt.
The black felt base that they used for the warbird, is quite thick; almost cardboard in stiffness.
On a related note to the patches, I was restoring some of the production photos last night and noticed that Walter Hill's blue and white varsity jacket has a full warriors patch set sewn on the back.
