Post by chrismasonic »

I thought i'd make my own Electric Eliminators Patch from Scratch,
I've Bought the Habidashery and thought i'd post pictures of the creation...
I think it's pretty screen accurate...the right size etc...what do you think?
I need to add some embroidery...

thank you...
yes...i'd probably make another...it took a while though
it's made from felt stuck onto a cotton background...
the lighting bolt is special glittery flat ribbon...i have glittery thread to add.
i'm quite pleased with it.

As Vermin would say, "I like it, I like it".
That gold effect ribbon works well.  Almost tempted to use it to cover my patch (but it would probably take me months to get around to doing it.  I'm a master of procrastinating).

cheers guys...

i'm guessing at the original size of the patches...
but after studying pictures i thought 12 inches across was probably about right...
i blew up a traced screen shot of the patches on a photocopier till i got the right size...
then stencilled it onto the felt...
scissors...
paintbrush...
glue...
fabric pen...

i plan on embroidering a border with glittery thread on the lightning bolt...

it may end up on a jacket too...

I think this looks a lot better than SATANSMOTHERS Electric Eliminators patches
**I got an inkling it's gonna be the one the children bicker over, it's that warriors vs baseball fury element that glitches motor sensory developement, i am a star really,**

i enjoyed making this...
very hard to put a price on the item...
the felt and stuff is fairly cheap but it did take a while to make...
i could be tempted to make another...

i'd really like to see more home made stuff by people...

stencils and scalpels is the way forward with this DIY...

stay tuned for my homemade Turnbulls...and maybe a Riffs dressing gown
