I guess that the artist used production photos carries the most weigh for you then...

The artist got his necklace right so he must have had some accurate referance material at hand.
Its possible that at the time of the art works production, the studio execs were undicided which actors were playing which roles (Granted, its a slim possibility).  More likely a bit of creative licence.  I dont think a head scarf suits cowboy though.

The belt buckle on the poster matches the screen grab I posted.

i thing the belt is the same as the coins with a buffalo on the back and that indian head on the front, i wanna say buffalo nickle but im not sure if it is
