I think that's about the right colour that the original one's would have started off. once it's been darkened the colour under the piping would look about right aswell.

I think that is a mondotees vest. They no longer make them and the guy that made them alexfugazi stopped posting on this site soon after.

Yep, it's a mark 2 mondotees vest. They went into production before alexfugazi had chance to tell them to lower the rocker. They are a lot softer leather than the A1 vests and also a longer fit. The piping is filled in with gold stitching that matches the warbird and rocker.

True, maybe an older or newer or modified version, dunno. Any ideas Ninth Delegate?

Definatly not a newer version. Mondotees got the cease and desist not long after the mark 2's came out. It's only cotton thread inside the diamonds, so it would be easy to dye.
The filled piping on mine stands out quite boldly.
