TURNBULL AC PATCH

After watching the movie again today and looking at the scans of the patches from Bobbie, I think we have had the TURNBULL AC patch all wrong. It looks to me that when making the patches, they used a couple of different materials to make the patches. For instance the ALLEY CATS patch is the following:

THE BORDER (BLACK) is FELT
THE BACKGROUND (GRAY) is FELT
THE CAT (BLACK) is FELT
THE RAT (GRAY) is FELT
THE EYES (GREEN & YELLOW), TEETH AND CLAWS (WHITE) and BLOOD (RED) IS EMBROIDERED
ALLEY CATS AND 13 (ORANGE) IS CHENILLE

I think that the TURNBULL AC patch is even simpler. Frezzing on the patch when they are watching the train leave the station, there is too much light reflection on the patches for them to be regular cotton embroidered patches (see pic) . I think their composition is this:

WINGS (PURPLE) are SATIN (Same satin used for the BOPPERS vests)
BADGE (ORANGE) is SATIN
BOX with TURNBULL (ORANGE & BLACK) is FELT with the letters PRINTED
BOX with ACS (ORANGE & BLACK) is FELT with the letters PRINTED

It also seems to sit very tight on the vest/jacket to make it look like it is a thin material (satin).

What do you guys think?

It wouldn't surprise me if the entire patch was printed. Satin is a tricky material to work with. It could even be polyester.

They do make satin with a cotton backing. Would be easy to cut. The detail of the wings definitely look embroidered. Looking closely at the lettering, I really leaning to it being fully printed. The B and R look almost stencil like. The TURNBULLS being the largest gang (not including the RIFFS) that are on screen and needing a large number of patches (looking at the ACS running toward the stairs, everyone has a patch) printing the logo would be far and easy.
