Again, you aren't entirely understanding how the law works.

The second he laid a finger on that cop, it was assault. It doesn't matter if you're under arrest already, they can and will tack on extra charges. For example, if they arrest you and find marijuana on you later, you'll get charged for that. You weren't arrested for it, but you'll still be charged with it.

Yes, they used deciet to arrest him. However, police do the same thing every day. Ever heard of a sting operation? The police lure you into thinking that they are normal people, then bust you. It's only entrapment if they coerce you into doing something you wouldn't normally do. For example, the cop invites Ajax to sit down. She starts coming on to him, and he responds by getting violent. She tells him to stop, he doesn't, boom, he's done. Now, let's say that the same officer were to stop another guy. He is respectful. Then she starts asking him to get violent and he says he doesn't want to. Finally, she demands that he get violent and, to appease her, he does. THAT is entrapment.

I can virtually guarantee they didn't put "gang affiliation" in the reason area of the report because that doesn't give them probable cause to arrest. Him trying to rape the cop, then hitting the other one did give them reason to arrest him. Gang affiliation in itself isn't a crime.

Sting operations, entrapments, free taunts etc... only cause they are always right!!!?!!!
Right or not, that's their way of working!!!
But all this, is so, only 4 civilians (well, only 4 people who don't respect the law) and even 4 the Mafia.
Why, cause they don't wear colours. 4 istance Mob men don't wear colours.

I know 4 sure, during those years (also today?) the Police could arrest a gang's member only cause he was a gang member!!! The point, the legal and juridical point is, even if he is a civilian he also wears gang colours!!!
You could ask me, "well, at this point, why the lady waited 4 him while she could immediately arrest him?"
My answer is, "Cause arrest him when he was aroused, was easier!!!"
I mean, and I repeat myself: I'm not saying that they didn't report in the reason area ajax's assault on an Officer, or rape and sexual assault!!! I'm saying that these crimes, were only ADDITIONAL crimes. I already told it, but the main one was "GANG AFFILIATION"!!! Believe me or not, it's so!!!

I'll give you 2 examples, from the movie and from the game.
So, when The Warriors are in the train, why did they run out as soon as they saw the cops!?!
I mean, they weren't doing nothing out law!!!
... and the cops, why did they chase them?!?
The answer is not cause, they were in The Bronx, or cause they maybe shot Cyrus... Police didn't know who shot during the conclave!!!
Conclusion, Police could arrest them cause: Being Part of a Gang Was a Crime!!!
I don't know today, but during those years was so!!!
It's not only my personal theory, or cause I saw that in the movie... I just informed about, last summer in NYC, a Policeman I met there!!!
So, either he didn't tell me the truth or (and it's what I think) he just told me the truth!!!

2nd example, in the game, sometime while playing, even if you aren't committing anything wrong the cops are after you!!!
So... 8)

The Swan, I totally agree with (almost) everything you said.

But looking at it from both points of view...
If you're not in a gang, and you see a police officer, and you make eye contact and you then decide to run for it, they;re gonna get you? At least
(and I know we're not allowed to relate to real life, so lets substitute the words ' my friends' with the word 'warriors') I know this situation has happened hundreds of times to warriors, and their families.

(yeah, so that last part was rather stupid, I know, but I thought I'd backup my point now, rather than later in a new post)

Well undercover cop saw him walking with the gang,not strong evidence,but trying to rape the defenseless
girl in the park and hitting a cop.I don"t belive he would stay one night.

Alright, so this may be a pretty stupid though, but everytime I watch the movie I seem to think this.

Ajax COULDN'T have been in jail for more than a night.
Why do I say this? I say this because he technically hasn't don't anything wrong.

Alright, so he's in a gang. All he has to say is 'I found the vest and put it on' and deny being an actuall gang member. Even if they DO find out he's in a gang, they have nothing to charge him on. If the Warriors in the film are like they are in the game (steal stuff, riot etc), then they STILL can't charge him because they have no evidence he took part in any.

In conclusion, Ajax wouldn't have stayed more than a night in prison (I say a night because the police might keep him to 'sober up'/do paper work with him/keep him out of the way, in the cell to go catch other gangs)

Does anyone agree/have any issues?

EDIT. I just realised...he punched/kicked the policeman when he was on the chair, and he sorta forced the girl to have sex with him, even when she was struggling. Still, I don't think he would be in jail long anyway.
Would still like to hear all opinions

I reckon he would of because  he did soughta rape a bit but she said too

Well whatever it is we all know Ajax probably didn't last in the cells overnight, he was cool but ultimately he would have gotten an ass kicking.
