New blood debut

Hey all, just joined in.  I bought the DVD the other day and watched the movie for the first time in a few years and just totally enjoyed it.  I liked the comic book cut scenes they added.  It was an interesting addition that didn't take anything away from the original version.

I remember when The Warriors came out, I had some friends who went and saw it.  I was too young, so I didn't even bother asking my parents.  When I finally saw it a few years later, I was thrilled with the way they limited gun usage.  A gang running through a gauntlet of gunfire would not have been nearly as entertaining as how the film plays out.  Plus, it adds that much more impact to gun use when it does appear.

Anyway, I'll be hanging on the grounds until I prove my worth.

i agree with his thoughts on the movie.  The Warriors has got to be the greatest movie ever created.
