Hi everyone
After going to meet David Harris and his manager last year, I've been in touch with them about the celebrations for the 30th anniversary and whether something could happen here in the UK. Memorabilia at the NEC is a big event and the next one is in November. David and MAtt have both said they would be interested in coming over and Matt is confident he could hopefully get a few of the cast members over but they need an invite from the guys at Memorabilia. He has suggested that if enough people get in contact with Memorabilia to ask about the possibility of a Warriors 30th event, there;s the possibility we could even have our own mini conclave over here. Please put your thoughts here about this before we go mobhanded to Memorabilia. There isnt much time with this as it would need some planning, but it's got to be worth a shot!
Colin

It all depends on the actors schedules, but theres no harm in trying. Ive traded messages a couple of times with Matt Beck and he's a sound guy. I know they have said they would like to do another UK visit.

According to Matt, they're definitely keen to come over if they get the invite....Thanks for the contact details - what we need now is plenty of people to contact them so they can see there is interest.

Any update to this? Ive sent a request to the memorabilia guys but have had no feedback to date.
Ive let other warriors groups on the web know about this and left them the contact address. We could do with a sexy D.J to "send the word". Lets hope something can come out of this.

We need to get more people contacting Memorabilia. We've set up a group on facebook a couple of weeks ago called Warriors 30th Anniversary here
http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=91297893761
and started a wall today. The aim is to get as many people as possible to join the group, post on the wall to register their support and then invite their friends and so on, and then we can send the link to the guys at Memorabilia as evidence of the level of interest, but it's slow to get off the ground. We dont seem to have had much interest here on the forum and as I'm new to the group I dont want to start ruffling feathers trying to rustle up support. I've been on other forums as well.
I'll know more after I've been to New York but it'd be good to get more interest going over here in the meantime as August is a bit late. Any other suggestions would be great......
