I moved here to NYC roughly a couple of weeks ago, I asked my girl about going to COney (of course to see the landmarks in the movie), she stated to me that as of right now, that area of Coney is pretty crime ridden. That and the park is pretty run down. Don't know if that's true or not but she is a NYC lifer so I will take her word for it lol. Hope that helps.
