Hi
I have been lurking around this forum for a number of years, but until today have never bothered to register.
Brief Intro -
My name is Mitch I live in Manchester in the UK and my favourite film of all time by a long way is of course The Warriors. I went to see the film when it first released and it was part of a double bill with another of my favourite films 'Slapshot' with Paul Newman and the Hanson Twins (triplets)....
Anyway, I work as a computer consultant, have a wife and two kids. We have a house in Florida which we get out to as much as possible to get some sunshine, as for the most part the weather in the UK is crap.
My wife and I came back from New York last week (we have been a number of times before), but this time I insisted on visiting the big CI. We did the Nathans hot dog thing, and although Astroland was shut, I managed to get some great shots of the Wonder Wheel and the Cyclone. It was an amazing feeling to actually see the thing in real life, as oppossed to the opening credits of the movie.
Next time we go, we will visit Riverside Park and see if we can find Rembrandt's W's......
Bye for now !
Mitch
