Warriors don't eat or drink anything throughout the night...

Now I know that the Warriors are running for their lives throughout the night and the length and time constraints of a movie doesn't allow for everything to be shown, but has anyone else noticed that except for the guys that go with the Lizzies and have a beer or two the Warriors don't eat or drink anything throughout the night? Now I didn't expect them to stop at a steak house and wine and dine while every gang in the city is out to beat the crap out of them, but it just appears to me that they might have gotten a little thirsty from doing all that running. By the way I did search this and found no previous posts on this subject.

Oh yeah, very good point flashman.
But, IMO, hypoglycemy or not (good shot Scurvy Dog

), their only one aim was to come back home. So, between: not to die and to eat, I just think it's more important the Life. In those moments, you do not even think you're hungry and after all, they were only around 9 hours (from 9 pm to 6 am?)... I mean, it was not even so hard to resist!!!

Okay.....I didn't mean stopping to get some hot dogs with their favorite toppings or dining at their favorite pizza parlor with pitchers of draft beer....what I meant was I have played a lot of sports in my life and done a lot of running and a fella tends to get a little thirsty after just one good run much less than running off and on all night. I realize that it is just a fictional movie with time constraints....just wanted to make a point that hadn't already been made. There are definitely some wise cracks on this board, but that's cool if that is the way one wants to portray their selfs

dont forget it was a struggle, but eating food or drink would be pointless for a movie,
notice they dont use the toilet or anything in any movie for that matter lol

I always thought the part in the book where hinton is at the train station and is buying chocolate bars and other snacks, really slowed down the flow of the story. I think it was the right choice to ommit this part when the screen adaptation was drafted.

No no, they did use the toilet... before Punks Brawl. But the Director re-ruddeb that scene. This was the Original Script
Swan: Ok Punks, wait a moment... (Odd Noises!!!

)...
A few seconds later-
Swan: Cochise... C.:OK, Rembrandt... R.: Yeah... all the others... etc... Mercy, come on stop it!!!
Swan: Hey Punks... let's start!!!

I think they would be more focused on trying to get back home before they got wasted than thinking about food or drink
