I bought the Warriors soundtrack on record lp when I was nine years old in 1979 and I always loved this song because I felt like it did a great job of describing the home life of a Warrior. As a matter of fact I always thought of Swan and his home life when listening to the song. If I am not mistaken there is a brief playing of this song in the movie, but I wish the whole song could have been played for the audience maybe at the beginning of the movie to give them a better feel for what the life of a Warrior was like. I searched this topic and didn't find it posted in this manner....

maybe instead of in the city it should have been last of an ancient breed that was used at the ending?

I definitely agree.. the whole soundtrack.. which I still have on vinyl in mint condition... is great...

Talking about vinyls ant the things from decades ago, does anyone knows how many different 7" singles have been released? I have only one, 'Theme from The Warriors/Baseball Furies' Chase.

that came out as a 7"? got nab one of those then  .

it seems like last of an ancient breed was written as the theme tune but maybe they felt it seemed out of place with the synthier stuff... though i guess that doesnt explain the more prominent use of In the City

They are quite bad when compared to the photos made by my new mobile phone camera, which is 8.1 megapixel. Luckily, here in the UK you can get really good deals, with a free top of range mobile phone, with most providers.

I've got an old Nokia N95 with a 5 megapixel camera and a sony ericsson with 8 megapixel camera, but the 5 megapixel Nokia is better quality.

All the photos of warriors clothing that I've posted on here were taken with a Nokia N95(8gig).  It's still a decent phone for its age.

I think the good quality is to do with that carl zeiss lens, the new nokia n900 has the exact same camera.
