And DO YOU KNOW why I want to know what the hell was up with that response? He posted a few facts about Coney Island and a link to an article about Coney on Wikipedia. One of those facts was something that people genuinely may not know, that it was an island but was made into a peninsula. Sure, this wasn't the single best post in the history of humanity, but nothing deserving a response like that. As far as I'm concerned, as compared to a lot of newbies, angvav is doing a pretty damn good job.

So chill out.

Did you know that he's set to Australian time and thus he is only making five posts per day? I already checked that out. Also, that first bit was uncalled for.

I have no idea why everyone in this thread feels like hating on this guy for no reason, and I'm not standing for it. You've both been here a long time and you both know better. I could sort of understand if he were breaking the rules or it were an exceptionally bad post, but even then, you leave it for the mods. In this case, it was a not great, but decent post which violated no rules. It pointed out that Coney Island is not an island, but a peninsula, which is an interesting bit of trivia. According to my search-fu, this has not been brought up in over a year in any thread.

I'm not going to sit here and watch a bunch of older members bully a new blood for no reason that I can see.

Hey GR99 I want to respond to this post and your post above. I'm just back after about 8 days.
So, I don't REALLY know why my First Post made you give me that answer, Believe me.
Yeah, this is Proving Grounds, but sometime I think People don't JUST read the last posts (ok, 5 years posts) before posting.
I mean, a lot of IDENTICAL posts... new but old... and you know what I mean.
Anyway, WHAT I KNOW IS: I didn't want to "bully" a new blood, That's for Sure, and you know.
I'm just trying to give my Best to the Site/Forum, do you rem that story about the "Mods Button"?
Now, if we (I mean, who is not a Mod) cannot tell anything (this is what I'm just guessing)... OK, my answer is the same: THE MODS BUTTON WILL BE MY BEST FRIEND.

You've given me some favorable responses to a few of my posts and I appreciate the encouragement, but I gotta tell ya:  If I understood your last statement correctly, you were saying that you don't think angvav is a good member.  This guy's only been on here for 2 weeks.  He's probably still looking for his niche.  Give him a break.  We've got a moderator (GramercyRiff99) who says angvav's doing good.

Just to clear the air everyone, I know my post is not the best you'd ever see.

It does burn people's eyes out. But the only reason I wrote this post is because it is trivia in relation to the film. Nothing more.

Just because my post is an awful one. Yeah more than awful, it doesn't mean that I am awful to, so I hope everyone understands that. And I'm judging or or assuming here, so please don't thinkk that

Guys, in the common grammar (ALL OVER THE WORLD), a "double negative" is a "positive statement"... if you know what I mean.
So, what I wrote above, is the same for: "I just think angvav is a good member".
Come on guys we should "talk" about other "stuff" here...
... so again, maybe I didn't like angvav's topic... OK... but guys, are you kidding now? To me he can do very well too... who said he cannot???
