I'm thinking of starting a story about the beginnings of a gang in the fan fiction section, I would just like to know how you guys feel about it, any positive or negative advice to help me?

I'd say go for it. The fan-fic section needs more stories to be honest.   

However, make sure you get that one last post in this section before posting anywhere else. 

Advice? Uh... always make sure you proof-read your work before posting it; even if you don't get many comments, keep at it; don't continue with the story if you're not enjoying it and it feels like a chore. That's  all I got without actually seeing something by you, hope it helps.

Thanks for the advice, i'm not too bad at writing if i'm being honest, I just hope people go for it, and Dud I was reading your Saracens fanfic last night, it really is incredible, I know it's on hiatus but you should really consider finishing that badboy off

and don't forget the whitespace!

A story is an original idea, a fanfic is a story which is based on something like a film, book, etc..
