i did search if this topic was allready made so forgive if i was wrong.

anyone ever thought why cleon didn't just go with the other warriors.
also cleon never tells any of the warriors where he is goin or where to meet him later.

yeah i know he wanted to pay his respects to cyrus. but he is putting himself at risk.

It's a pronoun issue - in that situation, HE did not get out of there

As for where to meet, as Cleon first approaches, he has no reason to assume that the truce will be called off, so they would, ultimately, meet back at Coney

One can presume that Cleon was so taken with Cyrus' words, he needed to see the fallen leader for himself, and that proved to be his undoing

cleon got himself killed by snooping around and playing investigator. anybody who grew up in the deep seeded urban decay streets knows to run when shots go off. if he hadn't had been there luther would've pointed out and blamed somebody else.

well i thought it was because he wanted to check if cyrus was out or not bcos he thought the meeting would hav been safe so with all the confusion he needed to keep his head on straight and its possible he had respect 4 cyrus, also he was very enigmatic about himself, he pushed past a few Riffs so clearly he wasnt afraid of them maybe ge thought he was unbeatable in the sense he wouldnt be harmed however of course luther had 2 get in the way with the classic line "the warriors did it!"

i found it weird how the riffs were allright with him standing there it looked off limits
hence the barricade i thought that they'd purely be on edge with everyone.

could hav been just for the films storyline to work out, and cleon is a imposing figure and the riffs wer trying to direct every1 out of the conclave

Why does everyone assume Cleon died ? Last I saw he was being beaten by a bunch of syncronized elbows. It doesn't automatically mean he's dead. I like to think he just got busted by the cops at the conclave, after his beating.

in the book the character survives but the film doesnt show any after effect but what would you do if you had heard that the guy standing right next to you had killed your leader, it a topic definitely open to discussion

I've got the book but I haven't read it yet, maybe I should. It's been over a year since I watched the movie, maybe it's time for another viewing, this time on Blu- Ray.
