There's a rumour that it's being filmed right now in parts of New Jersey, but i've not found any concrete evidence on the net to back this story up.

It's not been reported on any of the major movie sites (aintitcool, twitch, ect) and theres no official site or facebook page to promote it. I think it's still listed as being in pre production on imdb.

eh, i was just making fun of the apparently contradictory pairing of "concrete evidence" and "net"

Certainly would be interesting to see it remade but have a feeling I would be disappointed.....I would be comparing the new characters with the old actors and think they would be found wanting....c'mon be honest who could replace Ajax?!!!

The actor from "The Walking Dead". I can see him as Ajax but I still hate the remake idea.

So is there going to be new movie or what? I was coming often on imdb to see what's on with movie, and every time I come there was nothing... Before, I think last year, were some actors and plot but now... NOTHING!

from what i've read. The remake is to be set in LA with crips bloods ms13 etc replacing the hi hats moonrunners etc
