Awesome! I have created 16 face cards and one joker based off the film. So far the cards include 3(K,Q,J) gangs members for each suit or gang(Warriors, Furies, Riffs, Punks). If all goes well, I will be creating a second deck featuring the remaining gangs/characters.

In all fairness, he didn't really say that this was memorabilia
He said that he has "...been a fan of The Warriors film and all the wonderful memorabilia...", and that he was "...working on a new item to add to your warriors collection"

I think memorabilia would qualify as anything that's been legally licensed by the brand. I have been very hesitant to show the full deck because I do not have the rights to the likeness, logos, or "The Warriors" name. If anyone has insight on this subject, please feel free to post a reply. If you guys are interested to see what the cards look like, I have posted some images in the FAN ART section of the forum.

You're absolutely right. I stand corrected.

I think you're defining "merchandise", of which your playing cards are an excellent example! However, I would be curious to see what "memorabilia" you have...

i did some research on all the warriors products out there and I did see a deck but it was just a regular deck, like Bee or Bicycle, with the logo on the back of the cards. Does anybody have it so I can see more photos of it.

There's the unofficial top trumps style cards that appear on ebay once in a while.
