Trying to get a vest.

Post by Vermin7689 »

Hey all,

I was just wondering if anyone could give me some advice. I am looking to buy myself a warriors vest and I am torn about who to buy from. I narrowed it down to 2 people satansmothers09 and charloots. I have some money to spend and wanted to know which vest is better. Can someone send me a picture of their satansmothers vest? It looks very bright in the photo on ebay. just wanted to know if that was really the color or if it was darker in person. Any advice would be appreciated

It all goes down to your personal preference. The vests both come from the same manufacturer, so are identical in size and shape. There is a slight variation of colouring, depending on what batch the vest is from.
Personally, i'd opt for charloots vest because of the vintaging he does and it has a newer patch which is a closer match to the one in the movie.
Satansmothers09 vests are good if you're on a tighter budget and don't mind spending a little time modding them.

Thanks, Ninth Delegate for the advice. I'm going with Charloots. I emailed him and I should be getting a vest by next week. Thanks again.

iv'e thought about getting a vest, but would never wear it, just not my thing, same reason i don't have a black label society vest either. i will probably just buy a set of patches and get some redish brown vinyl for a backing like you buy at the fabric store and put it in a nice frame.

I can respect that. If you know for a fact you're not going to wear it, then its a waste. I actually was going to buy a BLS vest a few years ago but didn't because i knew i wouldn't wear it. Plus I lived in the lower part of manhattan near the Hells Angels NYC HQ and didn't want to take a chance. But in my case I have been looking to get a vest for some years now, and I know I will wear it.

Oh yeah. I have read a lot about that problem. I'm pretty sure BLS had to cancel a few shows because the hells angels said they would start beating fans outside the venue if the show went on. It's so crazy.

I am probably far too late with this reply, but I have been interested in getting a vest myself, the best price I've seen so far is $79.99 on Amazon. I will keep checking for different deals and keep you all posted.

The ones on Amazon are the cheap quality plastic halloween costume. You can pick them up cheaper on ebay.

Yeah the quality didn't look great on amazon. I ended up getting a better deal on ebay anyway, I was just about to post that. You can get a decent vest for around 50 dollars on ebay.
