Hi all

Only one year till I head over to NYC !
Last I read ( unless I missed a link/ post ) - the Candy store location was hard to locate- however I found a site that
shows this as the current day place - 17 - 1st Ave at 1st Street

It sure looks like the spot when you compare the THEN and NOW shots at this site.
Can anyone confirm please

Also - Is it 'safe' as a 'somewhat naive' tourist to head up to Riverside Park and walk that area ?

It was a few years ago when I walked it, from 72nd to 104th Streets. Right around 100th Street is where the Warriors ran from the Baseball Furies. You'll also see the conclave area, though I don't recall what street that is near.
