I understand new members have to make 10 posts in this section before posting elsewhere. I have been a huge fan of The Warriors film since I first saw it a good few years ago. I have been to New York around 5 times and it wasn't until recently (last month) that I went to search for the locations of where The Warriors was filmed.

The reason for my travels to New York last month were to celebrate my Uncle's 50th birthday and he is also a huge fan of the movie. He did a bit of research and we headed to the Bronx, and got off at Dyer Avenue and headed to Van Cortland park, however we got a little lost and ended up not managing to get there. The only part we went to that featured in the movie was Coney Island and that was excellent, thoroughly enjoyed it there.

It wasn't until I returned from the trip that I stumbled across this website and realized that the actual filming locations weren't in the Bronx, so I would love to go again and go to the very areas that feature in the film.

Anyway, I look forward to being a member on here and participating in discussions and debates.
