Hey guys.....My name is Jim and I am new to this board. I first saw The Warriors when I was 11 years old in the theater and it changed my life. I just finished shooting a location documentary for the film and I am now in the process of editing it all together. I really have to thank our War Chief, Gareth, who was a BIG help in answering any and all questions I might of had. If it was not for him and this website it would have been nearly impossible to make this dream a reality. I would say that the best part, for me, was finally seeing the cemetery used in the film. Actually seeing the same names on the gravestones that you can see in the film sent a shiver down my spine. It was really a great time. One funny thing about that location was as I was getting some shots, a security guard pulled up in his truck and told me that filming was not allowed in the cemetery. Thankfully I had about 90% of the footage already shot.
Anyway, I am happy finally to be on this site and I will keep everyone updated on the documentary.

Thanks. It is shot on video and I just started editing it all together so as for Youtube, I am not sure at this point.

Good job man, its always good to have new projects down on the film.  Its like this is the daily planet and you are a reporter finding whatever you can find.

Yeah that is me. You know whats funny? Everyone thinks that the "Warrior" in Warrior1967 is from the film, however as a kid growing up I used to love the wrestler The Ultimate Warrior and took the name from that. What is cool is that I can also use it for the movie.

Im from the UK and would love to take a look at the locations. It was always a little dream of mine to go to Stillwell Avenue station but someone told me its completely different now.
Which of the locations have changed very little?

Any idea when the doc comes out, or when your fellow homies can see it?

I hope it gets put on the site soon. I plan to go on a trip to NY to see the Warriors and Wanderers locations. But I dont know many loations in the Wanderers yet.

PLease keep us all posted on when you are ready to show this. I am extrmely confident that it will be excellent especially for the real fans of the film. Good luck!
