Whassup, fellow Warriors!
The name's Wheeljak, and I hail from Florida, the Sunshine State.
I'm so happy that I found this forum.
I've been a fan of The Warriors since I first saw it, around 1991. Ever since, I've been hooked; if it comes on television, I can't help but sit down and watch it all the way through.
I think it's great-- the way this movie, though under-appreciated in its day, has stood the test of time and is not only recognized as a cult classic, but as a great movie in its own right.

I look forward to fulfilling my ten-post prerequisite here in the kiddie pool, so I can talk with y'all on the deep end real soon. Fortunately, there are a lot of decent topics in the beginner's forum, so I should be able to get through this in just a few days.

hello i must say first of all i am a tad confused over all this (i have never joined a forum before ) anyway im amelia and i felt the need to join this as none of my friends have seen the warriors, shocking i know! i just need to chat to people about how amazing this film is. i just love it so so much. i remember first watching it with my brother when i was about 10! and i suddenly remembered it again a couple of years ago and i thought i have to find it on dvd so i can reminice and it was totally worth it.  i got the furies jersy and one of the furies figures for my birthday last year and now i want all of them! ( i did take it out the packaging....not sure if that was a mistake??) oh and also when i have been looking for different figures and there are dirty and clean figures? what are the differences between them?

let me just say, welcome Wheeljak, and can_you_Dig_It?, you two sound like promising warriors.  Its refreshing to have fans who have deep insight and appreciation for the essence of this film.  Its good to see you two following the rules, and enjoy your stay on such a great entity we like to call "The Warriors".

the difference is that the clean ones are before the rumble and they are literally clean and the dirty ones are all muddy and torn up.

As for the figures i'd say the Dirty(Rumble) versions are the best & hardest to get !

I've never seen these figures that y'all are talking about, and I go to comic book stores every now and then, where I would expect to see stuff like that. I wonder where they are sold...

you can usually find them on the internet, they are quite expensive though especially the rare ones

Tons of info about the figures under the action figure section. Start on page 14 and go back and you'll know it all in no time. One of my favorite places to be.
