why do they have to make another warrior movie that has the exact storyline. cant they make a new story called the warrior 2 in 2008. the future story of the warriors[glow=red,2,300][img]http://cleon_thumb[/img][/glow]

Nah, it's fine here. I don't know why they didn't keep to the script with the current remake. However I suppose you have to move with the times, the things people say have changed - it was all funked out in the 70's but we're over 25 years in the future now.
At best you could have the same storyline and change the lingo but I think the bottom line is that NYC does not see gangs in the same way, they are much smaller now and are more 'Gangsta-bling-bling'. Put simply the gangs are not the same and to follow the old film would just seem odd or unrealistic.

yeah but Willubag, if it becomes a sequal rather then a remake, it completely distorts the whole warriors universe.  The reason we like the warriors, is because it has no continuation.  Its a film that stands on its own, and leaves people wondering whatever happened to them. The meaning behind the story, and journey they take, should always be left alone.  Thats why there a remake rather then a part 2, because aremake doesn't mess the storyline up.
