Hey,
I'm new here. This is my first post. I saw The Warriors when I rented it at a video store. It was is an AWESOME movie. I've watched it tons of times. I'm 16 and my mom never saw it when she was younger, but my dad did. My biggest wish is to visit every place where the film was shot. I was just to Coney Island. It was cool to be there. My mom and dad are from Philly, but I was born and raised in Minnesota. I really want to prove myself worthy of this forum!
Peace out!
Stephen

Welcome. It's great to see new blood introductions like this. You seem like a pretty sensible poster.

Hey, Stephen. Welcome to the site!
I was 15 when I first saw The Warriors, and it's now my favorite movie at 37. I happened upon it in a mom-and-pop video store that didn't have anything new, but had a few odds and ends - The Warriors was one of them! I have been to Coney Island too, earlier this year - got to see it before its final days.
Incidentally, I am also from Minnesota - what part are you from? I'm in Albert Lea (straight south of the Twin Cities, about 10 miles north of the Iowa border).
Again, welcome to the forum, and enjoy your stay!
Thank you for the welcome. It's nice to see another Minnesotan on this forum. To answer your question, I live near Marshall, MN. I heard somewhere that a new Warriors movie is coming out in 08'. Any truth to that rumor?

Hey Stephen, welcome to the forum, there's a page on the imdb about the remake of the warriors and a forum there as well which, to my knowledge is pretty informative(though the mob their are far less friendly and articulate than here) and i think wikipedia might have an article by now if your interested about learning more about it... i myself am against it but anyway, saw this wonderful 79 film only earlier this year, love at first sight and by far my favorite movie, and i have seen my fair share of good flicks, you say your 16? that's awesome more and more i see people younger than myself embracing the film and since it's a 70's film that is uncommon but really says something about it, very awesome to see.
enjoy the forum man, all the best
