Anyone ever thought why didnt cleon just go with the other warriors love to here your views

interesting point, he wanted to check on cyrus he obviously felt strongly in what he had to say to all the gangs and was maybe paying his respects which led to his doom obviously, but thats jus what i think

Yeah I think the same, it's almost surely a RESPECT move, but I also wonder why he was the only one (apart from The Riffs).
I mean, and ye it's anyway the movie, Cleon obviously respected Cyrus... but did he maybe want to obtain, by that move, more respect from The Riffs (and not only from the other gangs)?

Anyway, theres' another topic (different from this one) about respect and some kinda unknown link between Cleon and Cyrus... I didn't find it!!!  8)

yeah i agree with the respect part bt he is putting himself at risk there was a lot of cops about arresting gang members what was he planning on doin when he had finshed looking at cyrus he would have been alone and a long way from home

good point how would he have found the rest of the warriors is he didnt get killed? amazing point, unless he would have just stuck with teh riffs to gain respect from them and maybe increase the warriors rep to

well the riffs beat him dwn and didnt ask questions i mean out of every1 there 1 guy shouted it was the warriors. if i was the riffs i would of least took him prisoner.

Well the point here is that we should know if The Riffs had more regard 4 the rogues or The Warriors.

Always remembering that's the plot, and the respect to me there "maybe" was also a special link between Cleon and Cyrus... we could never know... because of that Cleon also went there. As I've already posted he wanted maybe other Riffs to discover that link... just 4 avoiding that they had not regard 4 The Warriors... i.e. if The Riffs had already met Cleon, maybe he'd be still alive, and luther with the gun in the pocket: 6 feet under.
Plus, if Cyrus was only injured, both he knew very well or not Cleon, he would have definitely wanted talk to him the same!!!

This a good topic...okay we know he wanted to pay his respects to a murdered Cyrus...he wanted to know what was going on so if he were to go back and they ask him what happened...he would tell them...but what next? And I don't understand why The Riffs would even attack Cleon only because of what two gang members said...The Riffs didn't have any proof to their allegations at the time...you can very much tell that Luther didn't know who these guys were until he read their vests..."it was them...it it was...(reads)...the Warriors...the Warriors did it"...

Its possible that Cleon didn't want to be Warlord or part of the Warriors anymore and this was his escape...either get lost with the crowd or get busted by the cops...he looks uncertain during that deleted scene in the beginning...as if he's unsure where his life is going...<-but hey I could be wrong about this one!

i think  maybe he was angry and shocked and his dreams for the warrior gang had dissapeared he looks really sad when looking at cyrus

in the book he goes home on his own, without the warriors (they're called  dominators in the book) & he doesn't get killed, infact he's the first 1 there.

id be interested in reading that book
