Your craziest 4th of July story?

Post by GrandTheftAaron »

Happy Independence Day everybody!

I'll start with mine; a couple years ago, my dad and I found some Roman Candles in our basement, so naturally, we wanted to blow 'em up! So we drove a few blocks from our house to one of those new housing neighborhoods (ugly, suburban, cookie-cutter houses with no trees), but when we tried to light them, nothing happened. So thinking they were duds, we dropped them down a storm drain and started walking back to the car. But then, we heard these giant booms echoing down the entire street through the sewer tunnels that were so powerful, we could actually feel them! If that didn't wake a few neighbors, nothing would!

Anybody have any good stories of your 4th?

when i was 15 i hung out with all the wrong people but every 4th of july we would always go and cause trouble, we seen 500 bottle rockets sitting on someone porch and we took those then we seen 3 huge fire works too we also took those, we broke the holders off the bottle rockets and bought a long fuse from a fire work stand and tied the bottle rockets together in pairs of 25 so you can imagine the effect and the sound, well anyway we got on top of a building and threw them at cars then we lit off the big fire works and enjoyed the rest of the night with some guiness and doritos yumm!!!!!
i have a reason, so there fore i am not a rebel without a cause
