"Jus' checkin' in..."

Post by LIPPY »

Hey boppers.

I was just sitting here thinking about old times and 'pow', this place popped into my head. Tapped in my username and password (they just came back to me out of the blue) and all the memories came flooding back!

It's been a LONG time (joined nearly 10 years ago!) and I see a lot of changes, but the set-out's still there. Damn, there were some good people and characters on here, a lot of good conversations and plenty of respect. It might still be the same for all you current members, I'm not knocking ya's :) This place really was the best forum I've ever been part of.

Anyways, just thought I'd pop my head in and say hello... and to any other old-timers that happen to catch this: I hope you're doing good out there! Never forgotten!

Much love,

LIPPY

Man, I'm sitting here doing the same thing. I honestly thought this site didn't exist anymore, but bam! It's here still. I joined here over 12 years ago! It's absolutely insane.

Facebook groups seem to have taken away the brunt of activity from forums such as this, but we're still ticking.

You were BOTH big parts of this forum, and the whole 'team' feeling. I remember it well.

Hope you're okay, and much love to all!

There will be a handful of us repping the forum at the UK conclave in Brum. Make yourself known if you're going to be attending.

There's been some characters over the years. I've no idea what happened to most of them. Kartoon was in the music business, last I heard.
We lost Tantive 7 to leukaemia a year ago.

Good to see some of the old timers checking in. I kept in touch with some members on various social media platforms, but we mostly drifted off in our own directions. SHM got back into skareboarding, even though his back is shot. Warchief had his first child over a year ago.
