Heath Ledger Dead!

It is very sad. I also think he was a great actor. And 28 is just way too young.
I haven't seen The Dark Knight as it's only been out a couple o' days over here, but I hear he is supposed to be fantastic.

Have you seen in the papers recently about Christian Bale (Batman) assaulting his sister and mum? I heard that he said he was depressed ever since Heath died.

P.s: thegoldencloset's idea about him being a good swan..i totally agree. He even looked like MIchael Beck in the film! The only thing is, the accent might have been a problem. I think to be in The Warriors, you would need a very good New York accent.

But, saying all that, you have to remember that Swan won't be a character in the new film and it won't be set in NY. IF it was though, Heath Ledger, imo, would have made a good Swan.

UPDATE: Saw the film yesterday and, IMO, it was a fantastic film and the best comic-book film ive seen. Thought that Ledger's performance as The Joker was hyped up because of his death, but man was I wrong. The way he portrayed it was just right. The random laughs and little bits of happy dancing, the way he said all his lines...genius.

My fave scene was the vanishing pencil scene and I also like when he's walking away from the exploding hospital in his nurse's uniform.

I would recommend it to everyone.

I have seen The Dark Knight, I did like it but I had alot of criticism on The Joker as a character, he did seem a little too cartoon like, I wanted to see him psycho like in "The Killing Joke" but I thought it was a great film and he did a good job, not a fan on the way he looked (films with people who self harm themselves hit a little too close to home for me) but I thought it was a great film.
